Approving completions
As a best practice, a staff user should review the pending approval lists on a regular basis.
Requirements that require approval will display in this area after an enrollee records the completion of the requirement (See Recording a completion for more information). You can choose to filter pending approvals to those requiring grades, or show all requirements approved in the last 30 days. A staff user can select approve, if the completion of the requirement has been met. A completion can also be rejected, with the ability to enter notes to the enrollee. The enrollee can then re-submit the completion after making the necessary adjustments.
Note: If a requirement does not require approval, the requirement will be set as completed when the enrollee has completed the requirement.
When all of the requirements of a program have been completed and approved, a staff user can approve the completion of the program.
Note: If the program does not require approval, the program will be set as completed when the enrollee has fulfilled the number of units required and completed all of the required stages.
- From the Staff site, go to Certification > Pending approvals > Program completions.
- Review the completions, and open the completion to view enrollment details.
- To approve a completion:
- Select approve for each completion you want to approve.
- Select Approve All to approve all completions.
- To reject a completion:
- Select reject for the completion.
- Choose Notify Contact to provide notes or instructions to the enrollee. These will appear as the status for the requirement. Otherwise, choose Remove Requirements, which will set the status to Rejected.
