Store

Your organization has the ability to define and display commerce products in a virtual store. Before the virtual store can be open for business, you need to configure the following:

  • Products – The Item Creator content item allows for new products to be created, and for existing products to be edited at any time. Once products are defined, you can set up products to be sold as a single item, or a collection, set, or series of items.
  • Shopping cart – In order for transactions to be properly submitted, it’s important that the Shopping Cart content record is correctly configured. The Shopping Cart content record uses a combination of content items that function in conjunction with one another. Once the content record is configured, your customers can begin checking out and making purchases.

Once the virtual store is set up, you can easily manage a variety of features:

  • Promotion codes – Promotions can be applied to an entire order, or to specific item categories within any defined date restrictions. These discounts can be percentages or fixed amounts.
  • Finding commerce products – You can search on a specific name or enter in keywords to find products.
  • On Behalf Of – Staff users have the ability to shop On Behalf Of customers. When the customer is ready to check out, Staff users can bill the customer, the organization, or choose to Pay Later.

Using the iMIS virtual store is an easy way to connect with website visitors, promote your cause, and generate funds for your organization.
