Defining state and province codes

iMIS is preloaded with all two-character state abbreviations and full name descriptions for the United States of America. iMIS also contains valid codes for the District of Columbia, other related U.S. regions, and Canadian provinces. You can add any entries you need.

Do the following to define state or province codes:

  1. In the Advanced Accounting Console, go to Settings > Membership > Set up tables > State/province codes.
  2. From the State/province codes window, click New.
  3. Enter the code for the state or province you want to add in the State/Province field.
  4. Enter the full name of the state or province in the Title field.
  5. Click Save.
