Setting Accumail options
The Accumail options are set on the Customer Setup - Accumail Options window.
- Automatically Verify New/Updated Addresses - Enable to ensure that the database will always contain certified address information.
- Accept Address Correction - Enable to standardize your addresses to meet the US Post Office preferences. For example, Avenue will be changed to Ave, and streets that have alias names will be changed to the accepted Postal street name.
- Update County/Congressional District based on - Enable to update the county/congressional districts based on the address purpose chosen from the dropdown. Any of the three available addresses can be used.
- Include Non-blank Country Columns - Enable to cause iMIS to verify addresses with populated country fields.
To set customer Accumail options
- From Customers, select Set up modules > General, and click Address and Notes to open the Customer Setup - Address and Notes window.
- Click Edit.
- Click Accumail Options to display the Customer Setup - Accumail Options window.
- Enable or disable the Accumail options as desired.
- Click Close.
- Click Save.
