Troubleshooting Customizer
The following are solutions to problems you may experience while creating user-defined or custom tabs:
- Problem: Tab not retaining data
- Problem: Data not displaying correctly
- Delete and recreate the tab if the tab definition has not changed since the data was added, but fields were moved around in the tab.
- No one was logged into iMIS when the table and tab were defined. Make a minor change to the table and tab (move fields up and down), and save.
- Close iMIS after updating tables or tabs.
- Run a query to determine if the data has been saved in the user-defined table but is not displaying in the tab.
- Problem: Validation table (the lookup feature) does not display for a custom field
This is caused when the tabs get out-of-sync with the database, usually because more than one person was logged on while the tab was being created or edited.
Solution: Make sure all users exit iMIS before creating or editing a tab. Edit the field or tab, change it back to activate the Save button, and then save the field or tab.
Solutions: If the data in a tab is not displaying correctly, verify the following solutions.
Solution: Make sure the validation table exists. Refresh the iMIS libraries.
