CEU system setup

The Event Function Definition - CEU window enables you to assign continuing education units for a selected function through two fields, CEU Type and Hours/Points.

To customize the CEU field prompts

  1. From Customers, select Set up module > General to open the Set up general options window.
  2. Click Advanced to open the Customer Setup - Advanced window.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Enter an appropriate field name that represents your CEU program in the CEU Name field. For example, enter CME, CLE, or CPE.
  5. Enter a term for the units awarded (for example, hours or credits) in the CEU Units Name field.
  6. Click Save.

Note: For iMIS to create activities for the label you enter in the CEU Name field, you must create an activity type with the same name using the Customers > Set up activity types window.

Note: These assigned field names will appear on all CEU-related windows and reports. They also will be mapped to the Activity.TYPE field when continuing education activity details are generated at the close of an event.
