Using the Event Function Detail window and its child windows
Some tips for entering data to the Events Function Detail window and its child windows will help you enter your data more efficiency.
- If the Event Function Detail window is in insert or edit mode, you cannot select a new function from the Define an Event window. You must cancel or save first.
- If the Event Function Detail window and any of its child windows are open, but not in edit mode, you can click on the Define an event window and select another function. If you select a new function, you can enter data to the Event Function Detail window and its child windows listed under More.
- When the Event Function Detail window is in insert or edit mode, all of its child windows are also in insert and edit mode. A save in one window will save data in all windows.
- An exception is, if the Function Links window is open, the user cannot click behind it to access the Function Detail window, a child window, or the function list on Define an Event window.
