Setting up a custom credit card authorization account

To configure iMIS to use an Xtender application that a developer has created for a custom credit card gateway (see Creating a custom credit card gateway), you must setup a credit card authorization account.

Note: Only two fields are required for the custom gateway: Account Code and Account Description. The remaining fields are available for connection parameters. Your developer can use the data entered to these fields for other purposes, or not at all.

Warning!

The labels on the fields may not correspond to the data you need to enter. Check with your developer to find out whether these fields require special data for the custom gateway.

  1. Select AR/Cash > Set up module, Credit Card Auth.
  2. Note: For Credit Card Auth to display, you need a relevant license, such as CCAuth or Service Central.

  3. Click New and select Custom from the Gateway drop-down list.
  4. Enable the Immediate Authorization, or Deferred Authorization option.
  5. Enter an Account Code. This value displays in the Select a Value window that opens when you click the Find icon in the CC Auth Account field on the Set up cash accounts window. This value cannot be changed once the record is saved.
  6. Enter a description for the account in the Account description field. If you enter a value in this field, it displays as read-only data under the CC Auth Account field on the Set up cash accounts window.
