Resolving warnings when 'Pass query values to matching report parameters' is enabled
Communication templates with attachments have the option to enable Pass query values to matching report parameters. When enabled, recipients receive the attachment unique to them, when both the report and recipient query are correctly configured.
Example: You are sending account statements to contacts with an open balance. To ensure each recipient only receives their account statement and not everyone's statements, the Pass query values to matching report parameters option is enabled.

Understanding why the warning messages occur
When this setting is enabled, you might see a warning that says the report has no matching display column in the recipient query. This happens when the report filter does not match any display columns in the recipient query. To resolve this, ensure at least one report filter matches a display column in the recipient query, so the report and query correctly connect.
Note: You are unable to save the communication template while there are warnings present.
Resolving the warning messages
The warning message lists the report filters that you can add as display columns to the recipient query to resolve the issue. To resolve the warning errors, you must update the recipient query with the display property noted in the warning message.
Example: The warning message says: The Order Invoice Attachment has a prompting filter for OrderNumber but there is no matching Display column in the recipient query. To resolve the warning, add the OrderNumber property to the display tab of the recipient query.
Do the following:
- Make note of the communication template's recipient query (Recipients tab).
- Go to RiSE > Intelligent Query Architect.
- Open the recipient query.
- Click the Display tab.
- Add the property that was noted in the warning message.
- Save the query.
- Navigate back to the communication template, and click the Body tab.
- Add the attachment and ensure the warning message is now resolved.
Note: If the property is not available, you must add the related source to the query first.
