Searching for tagged items

You can search for content folders or content records with tags.

Do the following to configure a content folder and content record to be searchable by tags:

  1. Go to RiSE > Page Builder > Manage content. Do one of the following:
    • Create a content folder.
    • Select a non-system content folder, and then click Edit.
  2. Click select for the Default Website (for search) field, and select a website. This enables indexing of the website for the search. You must select a default website even if you do not apply tags at the content folder level. If you do not select a default website, content records with tags applied in that content folder are not returned during searches.
  3. Click select for the Include content in Searches for these additional Websites field. This allows searches for items on the default website, for example, the Staff site, to be returned when performing the search from another website, for example, the Member site.
  4. (Optional) Click Always display content in default website. If this option is selected, the end-user will be redirected to the default website to view the tagged content if they perform the search in another website.
  5. Click the Current Tags tab, and then click Modify to apply tags.
  6. Click Save, and then click Cancel.
  7. Click Publish.
  8. Select Publish Working Items, Regenerate Published Items. The content folder and all content records contained therein will be searchable to any applied Tag Name.
