Supported payment gateways

A payment gateway is a third-party service provider that provides a front end to financial networks, financial institutions, and payment processors, which allows merchants to provide credit or debit card authorization to their clients. When a payment is submitted in iMIS, the iMIS tokenization engine (DataVault) sends a token to the payment gateway requesting payment. The payment gateway then sends a request to the merchant account to process the funds needed for the payment.

Note: If your organization is self-hosted and you want to use the iMIS tokenization engine, see Installing DataVault.

Note: There are certain restrictions for each country that are not listed here. Visit the gateway's website for more information about the specific banks that are supported by the payment gateway.
