Managing role activities

The Role tab is an option available to users licensed for Relationships. The Role tab enables you to see a subset of a contact's relationships, based on relationship type. This is helpful if you have a contact with a large number of relationships, and you want easier access to just a few specific types of relationships for that contact.

Note: All relationships on the Role tab will also appear on the Relationships tab.

Note: Managing role activities is available only in Desktop.

The Role tab will display only when the following requirements are met:

  • You are licensed for Relationships.
  • Your administrator has defined the ROLE code in the GROUP_CODE General Lookup/Validation table.
