Defining an event function as a fundraising function

Events are defined in the Events > Define an event window. Procedures for defining a fundraising event function are the same as those for defining regular event functions, except for a few fundraising features. See Event Function Detail window for more information.

Once an event function is defined as a Fundraising Function, the function can be tracked for campaign purposes. Simply attach the function to an existing fund, appeal, and/or campaign. See Defining fundraising campaigns for more information.

Multiple entities

If your system is configured to use multiple financial entities (see Multiple Entity Processing), you can define a default entity code for an event and assign different entities to some or all of your event functions. This enables you to offer a mix of fundraising and non-fundraising functions, and a mix of entities receiving income, within the same event.
