Defining products
Before defining your individual products, you first must define your product categories. Product categories are defined on the Set up product categories window (from Orders, select Set up tables > Product categories). For additional information, see Product categories setup.
After defining your product categories, you can define your individual products. Products are defined and managed on the Manage products window, which allows you to enter and access product codes, titles, descriptions, prices, accounting information, and other specific product options. The Manage products window also is used for accessing and displaying product inventory information and for designating a product's Process Manager items.
