Orders: Set up warehouses

To define inventory parameters for multiple warehouses on the Warehouses window, the warehouses first must be defined on the Set up warehouses window (from Orders, select Set up warehouses). If the warehouses are not defined on the Set up warehouses window, you will not be able to define inventory parameters for them.

The Set up warehouses window is accessed from the Set up warehouses task-list item. The Set up warehouses item displays under the Orders task list only if the Enable Multi-Warehouses option is enabled on the Inventory System Setup window (from Orders, select Set up module, and click Inventory). Warehouse locations and descriptions defined on the Set up warehouses window are stored in the Product_Location table.
