Setting up the shopping cart
The shopping cart is a versatile content record that manages your users’ financial interactions with your website. The shopping cart allows users to pay for products, memberships, event registrations, and to make donations. iMIS uses a combination of several content items on a single content record to create the cart. It is recommended that you copy the content record from the Core Content folder and paste it to your desired site.
Do the following to copy the Shopping Cart content record to any webpage:
- In the Staff site, go to RiSE > Page Builder > Manage content.
- Go to Core Content > Shop > Store Layouts, and then select the Cart content record.
- Select Organize > Copy.
- Go to your desired content folder, and select Organize > Paste. For example, paste the copied content record to Shared Content > Shop folder.
- Publish the content record.
- (optional) Go to Site Builder > Manage sitemaps:
- Select a website from the drop-down.
- Select New > Website Navigation Item.
