Moving content from one website to another

Staff users can easily move content from one website to another.

To move content from one website to another, do the following:

  1. Go to RiSE > Site Builder > Manage sitemaps.
  2. Find and select the desired content record.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Select and copy the text string in the Content or URL to link to field.
  5. From the drop-down, select the new website.
  6. From the navigation bar, click New > Website Navigation Item.
  7. Enter the Navigation link text.
  8. From the Content or URL to link to field, paste the text that was copied earlier.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Click Publish.

Note: This procedure links the same content record used on the first website, so updates to the content will reflect on the second website. To instead create a copy of the content record, go to RiSE > Page Builder > Manage content. Locate the content record and make a copy of it. Be sure to update the sitemap item to use the new copied version.
