iMIS Assistant chatbot
The iMIS Assistant chatbot, powered by AI, helps staff users find information and receive personalized assistance to their questions. The iMIS Assistant is connected to the help site, enabling it to answer questions about the iMIS Staff site.
Visit the Command AI Privacy Policy for information on their data and privacy policies.
Important! iMIS Assistant does not have access to personal data. It is specifically designed to answer staff users' questions about using different parts of the iMIS EMS Staff site.
Best practices
To ensure you are using the iMIS Assistant effectively and securely, review the following best practices:
- To protect your privacy, avoid sharing any personal information (such as passwords, addresses, or financial details) while using the iMIS Assistant, as the details may be stored for service improvement purposes.
- While the iMIS Assistant strives to provide accurate and helpful responses, you must verify any critical information the chatbot provides to ensure it meets your needs.
- If you have additional questions or need further assistance beyond what the chatbot can provide, contact the iMIS Technical Support team.

The iMIS Assistant is disabled out-of-the-box but can be enabled if you prefer to use the chatbot.
To enable the iMIS Assistant chatbot, do the following:
- Go to Settings > AI.
- Enable the Enable iMIS Assistant checkbox.
- Click Save.

Do the following to use the iMIS Assistant:
- Click the iMIS Assistant icon.
- Click Chat with Copilot.
- Enter a question.
- Click the search icon or hit Enter.
Alternatively, Search for an answer to the question and get related content from the help site.
An answer appears. Depending on the question, some iMIS Assistant answers have links to related help site content or the option to learn more.
After receiving an answer, there are several options to choose from:
- Ask another question or start a new chat by clicking + New chat.
- Click one of the other options in the chat for more related information.

In addition to answering questions, the iMIS Assistant offers a variety of helpful links and action buttons designed to enhance your experience:
- Recommended for You – Links to the iMIS help site and highlights other articles of interest.
- Documentation Support Service – Links to more information about the Documentation Support Service, which is a unique service that provides clients with personalized iMIS documentation tailored to their exact business processes and workflows.
- Additional resources – Links to additional resources, such as the new iMIS EMS features, Learning Hub, iMIS Blog, and iMIS Marketplace.
