iDMS Dashboard

The iDMS dashboard allows you to access key metrics, view a high-level summary of activity, and review job history to monitor workflows and performance.

To access the iDMS dashboard, click Dashboardfrom the navigation in the side menu.

Note: While working the various iDMS modules, click iDMS at any time to return to the dashboard.

Navigating the iDMS modules

The dashboard provides centralized access to all modules and key tools:

  • Quick access to iImport, iUpdate, iSchedule, and iWorkflow areas.
  • Drilling down from the iImport and iUpdate buttons reveals the following options:
    • Dashboard: Displays recently completed import and update runs.
    • New: Opens a blank job ready for configuration.
    • Tasks: Displays scheduled tasks.
    • Templates: Where job templates can be managed or imported.
    • Settings: A link to default job where the global settings for job options can be set. This is also where the iDMS cache may be cleared.
    • Note: Updating the default settings will only affect future jobs and will not update existing job templates.

    • About: Display the Cloud ID, user and product information.

Dashboard Cards

Dashboard Cards include overview information:

  • Completed Imports - Jobs that ran to successful completion.
  • Partial Imports - Jobs that completed but encountered issues with one or more records.
  • Failed Imports - Jobs that encountered an error during execution and did not complete successfully.
  • Pending Import - Jobs scheduled to run in the near future.
  • Active Imports - Jobs that have been started but not submitted. These may be in progress, paused, or saved to be completed later.
  • Recurring Tasks - Jobs configured to run on a defined schedule.

Job History

The Task History and History tabs show an overview of the history of jobs from the past 30 days. Click View More to filter jobs.

Task History

Allows you to see the last job history of recurring jobs for quick review. Additionally, there are Status, Job Name, and Source Type parameters to narrow the results of the job histories.

History

Allows you to see the history of all jobs. Additionally, there are Status, Data Source, Updated from, thru, and Source Type, parameters to narrow the results of the job histories.

Source Type drop-down options:

  • Manual - Tasks triggered manually by the user.
  • iWorkflow - Triggered by an iWorkflow run. This run will have the Name and Definition Id as the Created or Last Updated By fields.
  • Webhook - Task triggered by a webhook. This will have the IP address and User Agent as the Created or Last Updated By fields.
  • Webhook Polling - Task triggered by a webhook using the polling endpoint. This will have the IP address and User Agent as the Created or Last Updated By fields.
  • Unknown - The trigger source is empty. This would include jobs and legacy jobs created before a trigger source was added.
