Action and trigger reference

In Microsoft Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps, triggers define the event that starts a workflow, such as an update in iMIS or an external system action. Actions are the operations performed after the trigger fires, enabling data retrieval, updates, and integrations across iMIS and connected services.

The basic workflow is:

1. Create a workflow in Microsoft Power Automate
2. A trigger occurs in iMIS
3. An action is carried out within the Logic Apps flow
