Video Player

The Video Player content item displays videos in an embedded video player. Users can configure the content item to play a video automatically, hide the embedded video player's controls, and define the height and width of the video when displayed in a content record.

In the content item configuration options, users can specify the URL to the video source. Videos can be linked from Vimeo, Twitch.tv and YouTube. The YouTube URL should link to a single YouTube video (Public or Unlisted). Private videos are allowed, but viewers must sign in to YouTube in order to view the video.

Videos should be uploaded to $/Common/Uploaded files, which can be accessed by going to RiSE > Page Builder > Manage files. These videos must be MP4s.

Uploaded videos can be configured with additional settings: Poster, Captions, Captions language and Captions label.

Note: Disable the Hide video player controls option to allow viewers to start and stop the video, control the volume, and turn captions on or off.
