Content Tagged List

The Content Tagged List content item inserts a dynamically generated list of links to content that has been tagged. The Content Tagged List content item enables you to specify the automatic inclusion of other content records or even entire content folders that have a certain tag associated with them.

Both the Content Block and Content Tagged List content items are able to share content through social media websites when the Include social sharing icons option is enabled.

Content Tagged List configuration options

  • Name - Enter a name for the content item. This text appears during design mode (configuration).
  • List format - Select the tagged list format that will display the content item:
    • BlockTaggedList
    • BlockTaggedListNoDate
    • BlockTaggedListWithThumbnail
    • Mobile
    • Short
    • Simple
    • SimpleWithHtml

    • Note: These list formats are included out-of-the-box with iMIS. You can add additional formats. For more information, refer to Defining tagged list formats.

  • Title - Enter the text to display above this content item on the rendered page. If blank, no title displays.
  • Show title even if no content matches - Enable this option to display the title even if this content item does not match any content.

    • Note: When this option is disabled, the Content Tagged List content item is hidden if no content with the specified tags is found.

  • Filter by - Select a data field on which to filter the list results.
  • Sort by - Select a data field on which to sort the list results.
  • Max results per page - Enter the total number of records to be displayed. If the value is set to 0, there is no limit to the number of records displayed.
  • Open in new window - (optional) When a user selects a link from the generated content, the link is opened in a new browser window.
  • Include social sharing icons - (optional) Select this option to share content through social media websites.
  • Selected Tags - Click Modify to select tags to be associated with the posts displayed by this content item. These tags can be used as a search filter. If one or more tags are selected, each post will be associated with each tag. If no tags are selected, all posts belonging to the parent will display in search results.
    • Match any tag - Enable this option to have each post be associated with any selected tags.
    • Match all tags - Enable this option to have each post be associated with all selected tags.
