Testing iMIS EMS

This iMIS upgrade contains many changes that should be tested before a client is upgraded live.

Follow the suggested timeline below to begin the testing phase. Create new contact records, process renewals, create new events, and whatever else you would normally do with iMIS! This is your time to determine if iMIS EMS is a great fit for you and your organization.

Important! Any changes made in the test site do not automatically transfer over on a live upgrade. Keep detailed notes about the changes you make in the test environment, so that you can make the same changes after the live upgrade. Items such as content records, queries, and business objects can be manually exported from test and imported into the live system.

Tip! The following is a calendar that goes over the suggested testing timeline once you get to the testing phase of your upgrade. Upgrade timelines look different for each client. The most important thing to remember is that all testing should eventually be completed. The most important piece of the upgrade process is testing.
