Log Viewer For Web Services

The Log Viewer For Web Services content item lists the processing results for files uploaded through the File Importer For Web Services content item.

Once a file has been uploaded, users can then process the file through the File Viewer For Web Services content item. The Log Viewer For Web Services content item displays the processing result.

Select the Batch Type that matches the File Format defined in the File Importer For Web Services. Not every imported file will display, only the imported files with the selected batch type:

  • Contacts
  • Donations
  • Source code
  • Standing Order payments file - BACS format
  • XML file

If there was an error processing the uploaded file, the user is notified, and is able to review any additional information about the error by selecting the toggle next to the Log Name.

Log Viewer For Web Services configuration options

  • Name - Enter a name for the content item. This text appears during design mode (configuration).
  • Title - Enter the text to display above this content item on the rendered page. If blank, no title is displayed.
  • Do not render in design mode - Select this option to prevent content record data from being loaded in the content editor. This improves performance during design time (configuration).
  • Display a border around this content - Select this option to display a border around this content item on the rendered page.
  • Batch Type - Select the file format to display the imported batches that have been processed from the File Viewer For Web Services. The Batch Type must match the Available file formats configuration of the File Importer For Web Services content item.
