Contact Us
The Contact Us content item provides a convenient form that can be placed anywhere on your site, enabling customers and visitors to contact you, your staff, or any other contact you specify.
Contact Us configuration options
This content item uses the Common content item configuration options, in addition to the following:
- Subject line prefix - Specify a prefix that is appended to the Subject line on all received emails. This allows you to organize or otherwise sort incoming emails generated by the Contact Us content item.
- Send emails to (required) - The email address to which all Contact Us communications will be delivered. Click select to search for contacts. Click the Full Name in the query result to specify this contact as the contact to which all Contact Us communications are sent.
- Use reply to for better deliverability - Some email servers will reject emails that are sent from another domain because it can possibly be spoofing or similar. Select this option to be able to specify an email address from which all your organization’s replies are sent.
- Send emails from - Enter the email address from which all your organization’s replies are sent.
- CC email address(es) - Enter email addresses you want to include in the CC field for the contact email you receive from customers and visitors. Multiple email addresses must be separated by semi-colon.
- BCC email address(es) - Enter email addresses you want to include in the BCC field for the contact email you receive from customers and visitors. Multiple email addresses must be separated by semi-colon.
- The Contact Us content item uses reCAPTCHA for security. reCAPTCHA is a program that can generate and grade tests that humans can pass but current computer programs cannot. For more information about enabling reCAPTCHA security, refer to reCAPTCHA settings.
- It is recommended that the Contact Us content item is on a dedicated Contact Us page. A link to the page can be included in the footer or other areas of your RiSE website, but it is not recommended to include the Contact Us content item directly in the footer of the website. Including the content item directly in the footer of the website may cause issues with the reCAPTCHA security integration.
